Obituary: Edna Clements, 82, Casey Co., KY

Edna Clements, 82, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the Terrace Nursing and Rehab Racility in Berea, KY.

The funeral services will be Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 1pmET/Noon CT, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Johnny Maupin officiating. Visitation will be from 6pm-9pmET, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eric, Kenneth, and Ryan Clements; Bradley Shelton, Albert Harris, Eugene McClain, Buck Williams, and James Lowery.


Edna Clements (1927-2009)

Edna Clements, was born February 3, 1927, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, the daughter of Otha Lanham (deceased) and Ruby Lanham (deceased) and died November 4, 2009, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 1 day.

She was a seamstress.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Larry Clements of Irvine, KY, and Stephen Clements of Mt. Vernon, OH

  • One daughter: Velton Shelton, Waynesburg, KY

  • One brother: Arthur Lanham, Ohio

  • One sister: Stella Harris, Springfield, KY

  • Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter and a sister, Eva Annis, and one brother, Robert Lanham.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
