It's humorous how traditions are kept up About:Memory Circling the Square CR and Jim Dandy To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Wow! It's humorous how "traditions" are kept up! In the early 80s, that's what we did too! We'd circle the courthouse, cruise up Jamestown ST, circle the old Pizza Hut, then around Sonic, back down around Circle R, and finally, back around the square. With the music blaring and windows down, youd try to see how many of your friends were out doing the same thing! Do the teenagers in Columbia still do that, or has the price of gas stopped it all? s/Dave Burton This story was posted on 2009-09-11 15:06:29
