Obituary: Jerry Holman, 63, Magnolia, KY

Mr. Holman was retired from IBM. He was a member of the Meadowthorpe Baptist Church, the USMC Reserves, and of the American Legion

Jerry Holman, 63, Magnolia, KY, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 6:00pm at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

Visiting will be from 1:00pm-5:00pmCT, on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with private burial on Monday, August 17, 2009, in Lexington Cemetery, 833 W Main ST, Lexington, KY.



Jerry Holman (July 11, 1946 - August 12, 2009)

A native of Fayette Co., KY, he was a son of the late Raymond and Nadine Twyman Holman, He was retired from IBM. He was a member of the Meadowthorpe Baptist Church in Lexington, and was a member of the US Marines Reserves and a member of the American Legion.He is survied by his wife, Janet Hurt Holman, Magnolia, KY, and the following:
  • Two children: Anthony Holman, Lexington, KY and Laura Suding, Magnolia, KY

  • One brother: Larry Holman, Lancaster, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Brian and Kevin Mackie and Sarah Holman

  • Several other relatives and friends
Memorials are suggested to the donor's local food bank or animal shelter.
