Obituary: Barbara Joyce Janes, 69, Adair Co., KY Mrs. Janes was a member of a very large, respected NW Adair County family and a member of Pickett's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and was a homemaker Barbara Joyce Janes, 69, Milltown, KY, died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 6:02pmCT at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 2:30pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Herbert Janes and Bro. Roger McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery, 4350 Milltown RD, Columbia, KY, in the Milltown community. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. She was born December 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Vervion and Delcie Compton Keltner, a member of Pickett's Chapel United Methodist Church, a former employee of Pickett's Chapel United Methodist Church, a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, and a homemaker. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 2:30pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Herbert Janes and Bro. Roger McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery, 4350 Milltown RD, Columbia, KY, in the Milltown community.
