Remembers Mary Agnes Theatre in Jamestown, KY About: "The Strand in Jamestown KY. The Star in Russell Springs KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com I am 71 years old, and I remember going to the Strand theater in Russell Springs, it was down the street from where the Star is today. I don't think the Strand building is still standing. There was a fire in that block in the past. The theater in Jamestown, which I remember as well, was called the Mary Agnes.
