Early Columbia book available at library

The Adair County Genealogocial Society has reprinted Ms. Ruth Paull Burdette's "Early Columbia, The Beginnings of a Small Kentucky Town." This book was first begun in 1959 when Ms. Burdette presented a paper on early Columbia to the Adair County Historical Society. This is the definitive record of early Columiba and its history. Special thanks to John Russell Burdette for graciously giving permission to have this book reprinted. The books are available at the Adair County Public Library and cost $20.00. For more information please call (270) 384-2472.
