Noel Francis Cundiff, USAF veteran of World War II

Mr. Cundiff was a member of a highly respected Adair County family with many relatives and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Bowling Green. He was retired from Lucent Technologies there

Noel Francis Cundiff, 77, Bowling Green, KY, died at 6:43amCT, September 27, 2007, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

He was born in Adair County, KY, the son of the late R.C. Cundiff and Flora Lee Cundiff.

Funeral is at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home. Lovers Lane Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY.




He was a native of the Cundiff community in Adair County and was retired after 35 years of service with Lucent Technologies.

Mr. Cundiff was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Royse Cundiff, and the the following:
  • A son: Kevin Neil Cundiff and his wife, Christie, of Garland, TX

  • A daughter: Suzanne Cundiff Brooks and her husband, Kevin, of Bowling Green, KY

  • Two brothers: Cosby Cundiff of Columbia, KY (Joppa community); and Cook Cundiff and his wife, Sammy Hancock Cundiff, of Versailles, KY

  • A sister: Fannie Dickens, Louisville, KY

  • A brother-in-law: Kenneth Royse and his wife, Maxine, of Bowling Green, KY

  • A sister-in-law: Audra Royse of Columbia, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Kenneth Noel and Christopher Neil Cundiff, both of Garland, TX; and Taylor Mitchell, Sara Jean and Elizabeth Ann Brooks, all of Bowling Green, KY

  • and several nieces and nephews
Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.

Visitation is from 3pmCT to 7pmCT, Monday, October 1, at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home Lovers Lane chapel, 820 Lovers Lane in Bowling Green, KY.
