Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin: 2007 Professional Woman of the Year Adair County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin was named the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Business/Professional Woman of the Year at the group's April 9, 2007 Annual Banquet at Cranmer Dining Center, Lindsey Wilson College. In making the presentation, Dana Walker said: "The Outstanding Professional Woman of the year is Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin. Jennifer is a native Adair Countian. She graduated from Adair County High, then went on to Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree. "Jennifer then furthered her education at Eastern Kentucky Unniversity where she received a Masters Degree. In May of 1997, Jennifer graduated from the Thomas Cooley College of Law in Lansing, MI. "She returned home and became a partner in the Jeff hoover Law Firm in Jamestown, KY, where she practiced law for two and one-half years. "Up the retirement of her father, Ray Hutchison, Jennifer followed in his footsteps and in August of 2000 became our County Attorney, a position she has served in since that time, winning the elections without any opposition. "She and her husband, Jason, are active members fo the Columbia United Methodist Church where Jennifer serves as Chairman of the Trustees. She isalso inovolved in the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce and participates in numerous community affairs, activities, and events, helping to make Columbia and Adair County a better place to live.
