Cross Country: LWU finishes 1st and 2nd at Eagle Opener Wilmore, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team secured a victory at the Eagle Opener Exhibition hosted by Asbury (KY) to open the season on Friday, August 28, 2026, while the women's cross country team finished second. The Blue Raiders men topped the four-team field with 25 points in the 5K race. Host Asbury finished in second with 46 points. The Lindsey Wilson men finished with a total time of 1:28:55 and an average time of 17:47. The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished in second place, with 39 points in the two-mile race. Host Asbury finished first with 22 points. The Blue Raiders ended with a time of 1:11:32 and an average time of 14:18. Individually, freshman Grace Seeley finished first overall with a total time of 13:13.2 and an average mile of 6:36.6. Lily Farr claimed fifth place with a total time of 13:50.6 and an average mile time of 6:55. Freshmen Stella Kruse (14:27.1) and Addison Williford (17:48.4) finished 10th and 11th, respectively.
