Selena Hudson Bagby, 79, Taylor County, KY

Selena Hudson Bagby of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dueard Gabehart and Gracie Gaddis Wood, was born November 24, 1946 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Monday, August 3, 2026 at age 79.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. Selena was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.


She united in marriage to Curtis Hudson June 29, 1974 and he preceded her in death August 12, 1985.

She later united in marriage to Olen Bagby May 24, 1991.

Selena enjoyed reading, going to the beach and loved being a “GG.”

Besides her husband, Olen Bagby of Campbellsville, Selena is survived by one daughter, Julie Davis and husband, Johnny of Campbellsville; two step-children: Tony Bagby and wife, Chasity of Greensburg and Alicia Waskom and husband, Darren of Louisville; two grandchildren: Kimberly Edrington and husband, Tyler and Jonathan Davis and special friend, Kate; eight step-grandchildren: Austin Bagby, Chesla Johnson, Parker Bagby, Jaystin Johnson, Brailyn Bagby, Patrick Waskom, Dakota Waskom and Landon Bagby; one great-grandson, Seeley Edrington; two sisters: Chrystal Gribbins of Campbellsville and Dorothy Sheene and husband, Johnny of Danville; one step-sister, LuAnn Grant of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Eugene Wood; a step-granddaughter, Alyssa Bagby and a step-brother, Mike Wood.
