Reva Nell Rodgers Tucker, Green County, KY Reva Nell Rodgers Tucker was born May 14, 1937, to the late Frank and Ruth Gaines Rodgers. She departed this life Wednesday, July 29, 2026, having attained the age of eighty-nine years, two months and fifteen days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was united in marriage June 19, 1954, to Omer Talmadge Tucker, who preceded her in death, September 27, 2008. She was a loan officer at Greensburg Deposit Bank, now Forcht Bank, for many years. She was a longtime fan of the Oak Ridge Boys and an avid University of Kentucky Basketball Fan. She loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ruth Gaines Rodgers and her husband Omer Talmadge Tucker. She was preceded in death July 9, 2026, by her grandson: Andy Tucker Gumm. Also preceding her in death is her brother: Gaylord Lloyd Rodgers, one foster sister: Beulah Hutchison. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sheila and Billy Joe Gumm, granddaughter: Neely Gumm, great granddaughter: McKynzee Scott and her husband Jacob and great great granddaughter: Lena Belle Scott, all of Greensburg, cousins: Kenneth and Charlotte Gaines, special sisters-in-law: Boneva Slinker, Cozella Williams and Madonna Slinker, special care giver: Sam Perkins and her Special Cat: Gypsy. The funeral service for Reva Nell Rodgers Tucker will be 1pmCT Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, with Rev. Kevin Brantley officiating. Burial will follow in the Pierce Community Cemetery in Green County. The visitation for Reva Nell Rodgers Tucker will be 5 until 8 Wednesday and after 7amCT Thursday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. This story was posted on 2026-08-04 23:11:44
