Thankful for a harvest By Veronica Arnold As many farmers feel the pinch and squeeze of costs, there is also the anxiety while the harvest is on the ground waiting to be brought in. When it finally is in the barn, there is a joy and thankfulness that fills our hearts. As Farmers, we know God sends the rain and sunshine. We pray for good weather and offer prayers of thanksgiving during harvest. It is a beautiful sight to see. I am sure many readers can smell the picture of the hay in windrows.
