Water concerns for our counties continue After Casey County declared a water emergency last month, they have arranged to purchase water from Adair County. A pipeline was constructed so that water from Green River Lake could be pumped to Lake Liberty. How will this affect Adair County's supply? This brings up water concerns for all the counties in the region. Should we begin to live on less water use now? With water shortages in the news daily in western states, what will we face when there will likely be water refugees who have to give up their farms and move because they can no longer earn a living with crops and cattle?
