Sheriff makes animal cruelty arrest in Harrods Fork area

Nine horses, two dogs taken to the Adair County Animal Clinic following action by Sheriff Steve Cheatham
An Adair County man was arrested Monday, December 5, nine miles south of Columbia on Harrod's Fork Circle.


Arrested and charged with nine counts of animal cruelty was Richard T. Foust, Jr., 41, Columbia.

The arrest was made by Adair Co. Sheriff Steve Cheatham.

Nine horses were taken to the Adair County Animal Clinic along with two dogs.
