KSP: Fatal collision on Bengal Rd. in Taylor Co.

Campbellsville, KY - On Friday, September 23, 2022, at approximately 8:18amET, Kentucky State Police Post 15 Troopers responded to a two-vehicle injury collision on Bengal Rd. in Taylor County.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Cheryl Sanders, age 57, of Campbellsville, was traveling east on Bengal Road in a 2013 Honda Odyssey when she struck a Kubota UTV traveling east on Bengal Road, in the rear. The Kubota UTV was being operated by Jason Jones, age 69 of Campbellsville.


Mr. Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Taylor County Coroner.

KSP Post 15 Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Taylor County Sheriff's Office, Taylor County EMS and Fire, and the Taylor County Coroner. The collision remains under investigation by Tpr. Brandon Roark.
