Arlin J. Scott, 83, Adair Co., KY native (1939-2022) Arlin J. Scott of Campbellsville died on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. He was 83 years old. Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Pastor David Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Milltown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday after 10amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born in Milltown, KY on January 16, 1939 to the late Frank and Annie Poff Scott. Mr. Scott was of the Christian faith and an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed golf, hunting, riding horses and watching all sports. Survivors include four children Ricky Scott (Cozetta Thompson) of Campbellsville, KY, Troy Scott of Campbellsville, KY, Tammy Scott Harris (Jeff) of Arley, AL and Donna Kaye Scott Haswell (Steve) of Alvaton, KY; five grandchildren Jeffrey Scott, Eric Scott, Blake Haswell (Lanci), Tyler Harris and Sierra Scott; two great-grandchildren Nash and Sloan Haswell; a brother Larry Scott and several nieces, nephews and cousins including a special cousin Bobby Scott. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Blythe and her husband Bill; a brother David Scott; a daughter-in-law Carol Scott and a sister-in-law Cindy Scott. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Scott, Eric Scott, Tyler Harris, Blake Haswell, Ricky Burton and Billy Wilson. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
