Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments July 21 On Thursday, July 21, 2022, the Adair County Circuit Court Grand Jury met and handed down indictments against 12 individuals from Columbia, Madisonville, Dunnville, Campbellsville, Russell Springs, and Shelbyville, KY, on charges including possession, burglary, theft, criminal mischief, tampering, assault, wanton endangerment, DUI, resisting arrest, reckless driving, trafficking, promoting contraband, and failure to comply with sex offender registration. NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
