Adair Outdoorsman's Expo scheduled for August 13 Chris and Lisa Burton presented a request to the Columbia-Adair County Tourism Commission board Tuesday evening for assistance with an Outdoorsman's Expo. The event will be held at the Adair County High School gymnasium on August 13, 2022. In previous years Terry Partin and Jones Chapel Church were the conductors of this fast growing event but decided to give it up when Covid hit. They expect at least a hundred vendors displaying their products and businesses, and 3,000-5,000 attendees from Kentucky and surrounding states this year. They will be conducting the first annual taxidermy competition with some of the top master taxidermists in Ky and surrounding states, duck calling competitions, giveaways, door prizes, and much more. For more information, contact them at South Central KY Outdoorsman's Expo, 123 Purdy Sano Road, Columbia, KY 42728.
