Corine Bell, 88, Columbia, KY (1933-2022)

Corine (Wooldridge) Bell of Columbia passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was 88 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Columbia Christian Church, 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with burial in A. B. Turner Cemetery at Chance, KY.

The family requests visitation on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 after 5pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, and on Wednesday from 8amCT until the service time at 11amCT at the church.


Corine was born December 15, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William and Mary Turner Wooldridge. She was retired from Osh Kosh B'Gosh, of the Christian faith, and loved reading and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bell, three children, Barbara Lynn Bell, Lonnie Bell and Larry Bell, four sisters, Rosemary Loy, Dolly Smith, Rilda Smith and Wanda Helm, one brother, William Wooldridge.

Survivors include:
  • Five sons - David Bell (Paula) of Glasgow, KY, Mike Bell of Columbia, KY, Ronnie Bell (Charlene) of Columbia, KY, Jimmy Bell (Sandra) of Glens Fork, KY and Kenneth Bell of Columbia, KY
  • Four daughters - Linda Forbis of Columbia, KY, Jo Ann Steinhilber of Glens Fork, KY, Sandy Coomer (Johnny Morgan) of Columbia, KY and Marie Tupman (John) of Columbia, KY
  • One sister-in-law - Pauline Parson of Gradyville, KY
  • Twenty-four grandchildren, Twenty-seven great grandchildren, One great great grandchild and One expectant great great grandchild
  • A host of other relatives and friends
