George Morris, 91, Campbellsville, KY (1930-2022) George Morris of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. He was 91 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Dwayne Norman and Dr. James Jones. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 11amET until 1pmET on Thursday, June 23, 2022. George Morris, son of the late Rollin Orbia Morris and Clara Neat Morris was born August 11, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. George was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Kentucky Utilities after some thirty years of service. He was an avid fisherman. George united in marriage to Patricia Reynolds July 16, 1951. Besides his wife, Pat Morris of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Sharon Lee and husband, Henry and Janet Deener and husband, John of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Richard Scott Deener of Campbellsville, Marsha Deener Warren and husband, Eric of Richmond and Corey Lee Shultz and husband, Tanner of Lexington; four great-grandchildren: Ethan Warren, Eli Warren, Evie Warren and Henry Shultz; two brothers: Orbie Rollin Morris and wife, Nancy of Louisville and Robert "Bobby" Morris and wife, Polly of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Dolores and Gene Money. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
