ACSO Adair man and woman arrested on felony drug charges By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Monday, May 23, 2022, at 5:23pmCT, Sheriff's Deputy Kenny Perkins was investigating a complaint six miles north of Columbia on KY 551. Upon contact with a man and woman, deputies began to suspect the presence of illegal substances in the vehicle they were occupying. Continued investigation led to the search of the vehicle, where suspected heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia was located. The male suspect was found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Adair District Court. Both were taken into custody. Tommy Wheeler was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on following charges:
