Ronnie David Stone, 76, Columbia, KY (1946-2022)

Ronnie David Stone of Columbia died on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his home. He was 76 years ago.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Columbia Church of Christ, 501 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY, with Dean Roach and Wes Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097.

Visitation is requested after 5pmCT on Tuesday, and will continue after 8amCT on Wednesday, at Columbia Church of Christ.


He was born May 4, 1946, in Barren County, to the late Frank and Iva Derman Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Eva Ann Stone, two brothers, Jack Stone and Bob Stone and three sisters, Mabel McClister, Louise Pelly and Betty Goff.

Ronnie was a member of Columbia Church of Christ, a U.S. Army Veteran and owner of Ronnie Stone Used Cars.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Connie Johnson Stone of Columbia
  • One son - Ron Stone, Jr. (Paige Dunn) of Columbia
  • Two daughters - Amy Morgan (Brian) and Emily Sneed (Phillip) all of Columbia
  • Four grandchildren - Isabella Gonzalez, Emma Grace Burton, Jase Sneed and Genesis Renee Stone
  • One sister - Helen Burton (Sammy) of Morristown, Indiana
  • One brother - Jimmy Stone (Phyllis) of Columbia
  • Several other relatives and friends
