Accident investigation continues, eastbound lane remains closed By Mike Keltner, Director of Adair Co. Emergency Management Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection Emergency Response Team, EM, State Highway, Adair Sheriff and KSP along with many other responders remain on scene of a commercial vehicle accident on the Cumberland Expressway (Formerly Cumberland Parkway). The eastbound lane remains closed between Edmonton and Columbia Exit 46. This accident caused a release of milk into Big Creek in the Gradyville Community. While the release of milk poses no harm to livestock or persons it can cause harm to aquatic species living in the streams. More information regarding the accident will follow from KSP.
