Ring the Bell for Literacy with MC Elementary School

Join in the Ring the Bell for Literacy celebration for Metcalfe County Elementary students Friday, April 22, 2022 at 9amCT and 10:30am at the entrance of the Metcalfe County historic courthouse on the Square in Edmonton.

This program recognizes new readers in kindergarten and first grade. Students will be invited to ring the bell at the historic courthouse.

The bell ringing will let everyone know that we have a new reader among us. After the bell ringing ceremony, students will sign their name in the official book of names stating that they have read a book aloud and rung the Literacy Bell.
