Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments February 17 On Thursday, February 17, 2022, the Adair County Circuit Court Grand Jury met and handed down indictments against 16 individuals from Columbia, Russell Springs, Burkesville, and Somerset, KY, and Attica, IN on charges including possession, DUI, escape, complicity, theft, burglary, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, public intoxication, receiving stolen property, marijuana cultivation, terroristic threatening, harassment, and stalking. NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
