LETTER: Librarian asks help with new carpet for Children's Area Old floor cover is nearly 10 years old, stained, soiled Dear Friends The Adair County Public Library is asking for donations to help with the purchase of new floor covering for the children's department. The existing carpeting was installed in 1996. It has endured many footsteps and spills. Some strains remain even after professional cleaning. We would like to install a non-slip tile surface that will look better and last for a longer period of time. We would appreciate any donations toward this project. We would also like to invite everyone to come by and take a look at our children's area.
