CPD: Man arrested for public intoxication and possession By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department Early Sunday morning, December 26, 2021, Columbia Police Department officers were attempting to locate a vehicle which had previously been reported stolen. While searching an area between Bomar Heights and Tutt Street, officers located a male subject attempting to hide from them. After making contact, it was determined that the subject was under the influence, and he was placed into custody. He was also in possession of suspected methamphetamine at the time of his arrest. Joshua Holt, 28, of Columbia has been charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. Officer Justin Cross was the arresting Officer.
