ACSO: Columbia man charged with drug trafficking

On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 4:46pmCT, Adair County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Tweedy and Chief Deputy Brandon Hitch arrived at a location on Grissom Street to attempt to execute a probation and parole warrant.

The Sheriff's Office had received information that the suspect was there and also received complaints he was engaged in possible drug trafficking.

Upon entry into the residence, the suspect was located in the basement of the residence. During the arrest, deputies located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, suboxon pills, scales, syringes and additional drug paraphernalia. Deputies also recovered multiple firearms, including a sawed off shotgun, during the search. The suspect is a convicted felon, and not allowed to own or possess a firearm.


Noah Dial, age 19, was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Deputy Chris Tweedy on charges of:
  • 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine
  • 2 - Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree
  • 3 - Possession of marijuana
  • 4 - Possession of a firearm by convicted felon
  • 5 - Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • 6 - Probation violation warrant for failure to appear
The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation, and was assisted by Trooper Levi Scott.
