David Edward Shaw, 68, Cumberland County, KY (1953-2021) David Edward Shaw of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, having attained the age of 68 years, 1 month, and 8 days. He was a Cumberland County High School graduate class of 1971 and a truck driver for Averitt Express. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Monday, September 7, 1953, the son of Charlie Edward and Ruby James (Grider) Shaw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Ruth King. He is survived by his wife, Patty (King) Shaw of Burkesville, Kentucky whom he wed Saturday, November 17, 1990, his brother, Freddie (& Allison) Shaw of Burkesville, Kentucky, father-in-law, Floyd King of Burkesville, Kentucky, brothers-in-law, Ernie (& Marilyn) King of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jimmy (& Karen) King of Burkesville, Kentucky, nieces and nephews, Adam Shaw, Evan Shaw, Charlea Shaw, John Douglas (& Lora) King, Robert (& Connie) Vincent, Adam (& Rebecca) King, Amanda (& Dane) Klineline, Kevin King, Ben (& Michelle) King, great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery, Annelise, Lacy, Declan, Berkerley, Liam, Finley, Cora, Everleigh, and Nolan. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 11amCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
