Barbara Virginia Eastridge Moore, 81, Taylor County, KY (1939-2021)

Barbara Virginia Eastridge Moore, 81, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Sanders Eastridge and Effie Eula (Light) Sanders was born in Taylor County, on October 21st, 1939, and departed this life peacefully at University of Louisville Hospital on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021.

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Barbara was a self-employed beautician for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.



She united in marriage to Murray Patrick "Pat" Moore on April 21st, 1962, who survives.

To this union of marriage, Barbara is survived by two beautiful daughters: Tammy Jude and her husband, Calvin, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and Lana Newton and her husband, Mark, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Six grandchildren: Jessica Gabbert and her husband, David, of Campbellsville; Beth Munford and her husband, Josh, of Campbellsville; John Newton and his wife, Catherine, of Elizabethtown; Joshua Newton of Bowling Green; Samuel Newton of Illinois; and Olivia Newton of Elizabethtown.

Five great-grandchildren: Katie and Caleb Munford of Campbellsville; Zachery and Evan Gabbert of Campbellsville; and James Newton of Elizabethtown.

Two step-great-grandchildren: Cage and Cassiel Ostergren of Elizabethtown.

One sister: Rose Kingsbury of Campbellsville.

Besides her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Calvin Eastridge, Lee Eastridge, Annie Roberts, and Naomi Collins.

VISITATION: Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, from 11am-1pm EST at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

FUNERAL: Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, at 1pm EST at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Pallbearers: John Newton, Joshua Newton, Samuel Newton, David Gabbert, Joshua Munford, and George Wood.

Bro. Lannie Garner and Bro. Richard Lowe will be officiating the services. Burial to follow in Eastridge Cemetery in Elkhorn, KY.

Auberry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
