Mary Kathryn Cassady, 94, Knob Lick, KY (1926-2021) Mary Kathryn Cassady of Knob Lick passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was 94 years old. Funeral services for Mary Kathryn Cassady will be held at 4pmCT on Sunday, August 29, 2021, with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from NoonCT on Sunday until service time. She was at the home of her daughter and surrounded by family. Mrs. Cassady was born in Crail Hope September 2, 1926 to the late Charlie and Mary Johnson Butler. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clemmie Cassady in 1996. A daughter, Virginia Sue Cassady and a brother and sister in law. Robert and Jean Butler. Mrs. Cassady had professed faith in Christ and attended the Coral Hill Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Center High School and homemaker. Mrs Cassady will always be remembered as to how well she cared for her family to make sure their every need was met. In earlier years she will be remembered as she traveled along side her husband who was a member of the Antioch Quartet. She is survived by two children. Martha and husband J.T. Parnell, Jr. of Knob Lick. David and wife Stacey of Knob Lick. Six grandchildren. Charity Ruth Cassady, Leticia (Chris) Clark, Faith (Alex) Corbin, Enoch Parnell, Jacob Cassady, Becky Hall. Six great grandchildren. Molly, Kiera and Ethan Bailey. Abigail Clark, Caleb and Lydia Corbin. Two nephews. Russell and Terry Butler. A host of friends and relatives also survive.
