Mamie (Wright) Beard, 85, Green Co., KY (1936-2021) Mrs. Mamie Beard passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2021. She was 85 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Beard will be conducted at NoonCT on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Scott Coates officiating. Burial will follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Friday, until the funeral service. Mrs. Mamie Beard was born April 21, 1936, to the late Sam B. and Virgie Berry Wright in Green County, Kentucky. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and worked for Fruit of the Loom for 42 years. She was united in marriage to Lucian Beard who preceded her in death. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters: Russell Wright, Rollin Wright, Robert Wright, Margie Perry, Mell Bibb, Mildred Milby, Mae Noe, and Betty Reynolds and four nieces and nephews: Dennis Nunn, Wayne Wright, Buford Bibb, and Dixie Poling. She is survived by twelve nieces and nephews: Donna Smith, Phyllis Smith, Susan Larimore, Ann Trimble, Randy Milby, Freddy Milby, Mike Bibb, Carol Hargan, Marilyn Jones, Gail Jones, Bill Wright, and Kathy Beard; three stepchildren and six step-grandchildren. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Larry Shelton, Randy Milby, Bill Hargan, Gary Larimore, Freddy Milby, Archie Akin Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
