Freddie Roy, 66, Russell County, KY (1954-2021)

Freddie D. Roy, 66, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 31st, at Russell County Hospital.

He was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and his family very much! Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.



Freddie was born in Russell Springs, KY on November 2, 1954, a son of the late Edith (Hadley) and Rue G. Roy.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years of Laura (Wilson) Roy, of Russell Springs, KY

two daughters, Tami (Audie) Hammond, and Jennifer (Kevin) Crawhorn, both of Russell Springs, KY;

a son,Jimmy Morgan, of Russell Springs, KY;

a sister, Debbie (Keith) Breeding, of Columbia, KY;

three brothers, Junior (Mary) Roy, Scottie (Leslie) Roy, and Orvis Roy, all of Russell Springs, KY.

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rue (Hot Shot) and Edith Roy and a sister Alice Wilson

Religious Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT on Saturday, April 3, 2021 with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 11.

We ask everyone attending please wear a face covering and follow Covid rules Interment at Wilkerson Cemetery Russell Springs, KY.
