Betty Anderson, 87, Taylor County, KY (1933-2021)

Betty M. Anderson, 87, of Campbellsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Elmer Stubbs and Katherine Romine of Taylor County was born on November 17, 1933 and departed this life on March 29, 2021 at her home.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. She loved traveling, bowling and playing cards with her family.



She was united in marriage in 1947 to George Elwood Anderson, who preceded her in death April 28th, 1988.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Kenny Anderson of Campbellsville, Kentucky; Jimmy Anderson and wife Lisa of Columbia, Kentucky; and Mary Whitlow of Campbellsville, Kentucky; one very special friend, Dorothy Lowe, who was a caregiver and companion; thirteen grandchildren,several great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Woody Anderson on November 16th, 2016; one brother and one sister: Richard Stubbs and Margaret Gumm.

A walk-through visitation will be Thursday, April 1st , 2021, from 10-2pmET at Auberry Funeral Home, Followed by the funeral service at 2pm by Rev Gary Maguffee With Burial to follow at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.

The family has requested the expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to American Cancer Society and Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
