Clodean Giles, 89, Campbellsville, KY (1931-2021)

Clodean Giles of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Campbellsville. She was 89 years old.

A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, officiated by Pastor Evan Tedder. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.



Clodean Giles of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Glenn Campbell and Claudia Harden Campbell, was born April 23, 1931 in Taylor County, Kentucky.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.

She united in marriage to J. C. "Curly" Giles July 9, 1947 and he preceded her in death

December 9, 2017.

Clodean was loved by everyone who met her and was known to be a kind and generous person and a great and loving mother.

She loved working in her flowers.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Gary Giles and wife, Jenny of Greensburg, Dianne Wood and husband, Jerry of Elk Horn and Roger Giles of Lebanon; five grandchildren:

Gene Giles and wife, Jennifer of Goshen, Allison Warren and husband, Greg of Campbellsville, Melissa Surratt and husband, Jeremy of Greensburg and Jordan Giles and Jacob Giles of Lebanon; three great-grandchildren: Katie Grace Giles, Tyler Thompson and Izabella McKinney; one step-granddaughter, Emily Ray and husband, Dustin of Hodgenville; two step-great-grandsons: Arai Ray and Datsun Ray; one brother, Skip Campbell and wife, Jan of Glasgow; three sisters-in-law: Charlotte Kinardy of Bowling Green, Doris Campbell of Elizabethtown and Pat Campbell of Kansas and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Clodean was preceded in death by a grandson, Byron Wood and two brothers and one sister: Ransell Campbell, Shannon Campbell and Bardaria Bland.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
