Dwight Phillips Sandidge, 91, Campbellsville, KY (1929-2021) Dwight Phillips Sandidge of Campbellsville passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 91 years old. A private funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, officiated by Rollin Tarter. Burial will follow in Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery. Dwight Phillips Sandidge of Campbellsville, son of the late Daniel Dwight Sandidge and Mary Phillips Sandidge was born February 28, 1929 in Green County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lou Hord Sandidge. He made a profession of faith in Christ at Greensburg Presbyterian Church and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville. He was retired from Flav-O-Rich Dairy. Dwight served in the United States Navy, was an avid golfer and lifetime member of Campbellsville Country Club. Dwight is survived by the following: a daughter, Beth (Sammy) Levinson, of Boynton Beach, Florida, and a son, Ben (Suzanne) Sandidge of Danville, a sister, Helen Sandidge Underwood of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jess (Clara) Sandidge of Campbellsville, Brook (Scott) Hollis of Georgetown, Indiana, Samantha Sandidge of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Mackenzie Sandidge of Lexington, Meggan (Will) Graham of Lexington and Erin (Brian) Lanpear of Bowling Green; five great-grandchildren: Keaton and Lola Hollis and Reid, Collins and Bishop Graham. The family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery Fund or Boyle County Humane Society and may be made through Parrott; & Ramsey Funeral Home.
