Letter: Would vote against legalization of marijuana

Doug McCamish writes:
We have a grandson who might benefit from a cannabis treatment, but I keep running into warnings such as:

1. Scams by people claiming CBD or other cannabis products can "cure" such and such, but without testing or proof. Desperate people want magic solutions and there are lots of people who will take advantage of that.

2. Application of an approved CBD product to some problem/disease for which it is not approved.

3. Very high cost of some approved CBD and other cannabis drugs.

This article does a better job of explaining.
I just noticed the series of letters about CBD and thought some warning flags should be raised. If I had a vote, I'd vote against it for these reasons. I would definitely vote against the "recreational" legalization.
