LWC Wrestling Hosts NAIA Top-10 Tridual Friday By Christopher Coombs The No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team is off to a fast start this season but Friday welcomes their biggest test thus far as they take on No. 9 Marian (IN) and No. 10 Cumberland (TN) at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. Wrestling is slated to begin at 11amCT on Friday, December 4, 2020, with Marian and Cumberland hitting the mat first. The rest of the afternoon is filled with the Blue Raiders taking center stage. Lindsey Wilson first takes on Marian followed by Cumberland. The Blue Raiders and Marian are tentatively set to start at 1:30pmCT as LWC and Cumberland will begin at 4pmCT. Start times may vary depending on when prior matches finish. Before each varsity match, the junior varsity squads will also be competing. Lindsey Wilson is a perfect 4-0 on the season, producing three shutouts along the way. The Blue Raider are outscoring their opponents 206-3. The matches mark the first duals of the season for the Knights and Phoenix. In total, the dual will feature 24 individually ranked grapplers with the Blue Raiders having the most at 10.
