Online-Only Worship Services at Trinity UMC

By Bro. Steve Pescosolido, Pastor
Trinity UMC

The leaders of Trinity UMC have prayed and discerned that the Lord is leading us to go to "online-only" services for the next three weeks. We believe our Bishop and our Governor have wisely and caringly asked us to do this and we felt the confirming direction from the Holy Spirit to do so.

Therefore, worship this Sunday will be one online service at 9:30amCT. Everyone is invited to "attend" and celebrate our unusual 2020 Homecoming Sunday. You can find our service at the church website: trinityumccolumbia.org (click on the LIVE icon).

Our congregation has been deeply affected by COVID-19. We lost one member to death. One member barely survived. One member is still struggling to recover and three of our folks have moderate symptoms at home. We sure don't want this virus to spread.

We are praying for the healing of all those in our area who have COVID-19 along with protection for all the medical teams and public safety teams.

While this virus holds us down socially, don't let it keep us apart spiritually. Please connect to Jesus through online sources. How we need His assuring love, daily protection, powerful healing and wise guidance through this crisis.

Let's continue to pray and to take care of each other. There is a way through this valley ...

Hebrews 4:16 NIV 16 Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Together In Christ,
Bro. Steve Pescosolido
Pastor
