Gilbert Ray Mondie, 81, Russell Springs, KY (1939-2020) Gilbert Ray Mondie of Russell Springs passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. He was 81 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Phillip Miller and Bro. Alan Cain officiating. Visitation will be at 5pmCT on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, and will continue on Sunday at 10amCT. He was born on Sunday, May 14 1939, in Liberty, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Opal Walden Mondie, and the late Ozie Mondie. Gilbert was a truck driver, a Veteran of the US Army, member of Temple Hill Church and loved playing and singing bluegrass music. Survivors include:
