Glenn A. Coffey, 81, Russell Springs, KY (1939-2020) Glenn A. Coffey of Russell Springs passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. He was 81 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Brother John Wilson and Brother Ryan Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from NoonCT until 2pmCT on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home. Born on January 16, 1939, in Russell County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Frank and Mora Morgan Coffey. Glenn was a former dairy farmer and a member of the Clearfork Baptist Church. He loved fishing and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, June Swanson Coffey of Russell Springs, whom he wed on September 23, 1957; one daughter, Mary Cynthia (and Marion) Record of Russell Springs; one granddaughter, June Alison (and Joe) Branscum of Russell Springs; and one great-grandson, Josiah Branscum. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by three brothers; Adrian Coffey, Carlos Coffey, and Wendell Coffey; and three sisters, Zola Stroud, Justine McVay, and Elsie Lancaster. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to: Union Cemetery Fund, c/o Reggie Roy, 1453 S. Thornton Road, Russell Springs, Kentucky 42642 or Gideon's International.
