Anna Rose Grant Wells, 72, Adair Co., KY (1948-2020)

Anna Rose Grant Wells, formerly of Adair County, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. She was 72 years old.

A graveside service will be held at 2pmCT on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at the Grant Cemetery with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Burial will follow

There will be no visitation.

All attendees to the graveside service are required to wear a facial covering and social distance.



She was born March 17, 1948, in Adair County. Preceding her in death were her parents, Oscar and Pauline Cape Grant and her husband, Charles Wells. Anna Rose served in the US Army.

Survivors include:
  • Three children - Vicki (Brad) Burgess, Crystal (Bryan) Caldwell, Randy (Mitzi) Grant
  • Five siblings - Harold Grant, Loretta Grant, Janice Kelley, Nadine Coomer & Darrell Grant
  • Eight grandchildren - Britany & Jeremy Burgess, Grant & Mason Caldwell, Chelsea Hatcher, Taylor Grant, Wyatt Grant & Kaylee Grant
  • Several other relatives & friends
