Annabelle Henderson, 84, Green County, KY (1936-2020) Annabelle Akin Henderson of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Cecil Thomas Akin and Olive Bell Bratcher, was born on Monday May 25, 1936 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at her home. She was 84 years, 5 months, and 9 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Earl Henderson of Summersville, having united in marriage on December 27, 1954. Other survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law: Earl Young and Andi Henderson, Jack and Darlene Henderson, Thomas and Kelli Henderson, and John and Katie Henderson all of Green County; seven grandchildren: James Henderson and his wife, Whitney, Casey Lay and her husband, Chris, Clint Henderson, Joey Henderson, and Rachel Henderson all of Green County, Marcia Kamer and her husband, Trey of LaGrange, Corey Samples, and her husband, Michael of Lexington; six great-grandchildren; a sister: Judy Ferrell of Elizabethtown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Henderson was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Carly Anne Henderson; a grandson: Luke Henderson; and a sister: Janice Akin. Private graveside services for Annabelle Akin Henderson will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Wilson Cemetery in Summersville. Bro. Mike Akridge officiating. PALLBEARERS: Earl Young Henderson, Jack Henderson, John Henderson, Thomas Henderson, Clint Henderson, James Henderson, Trey Kamer. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
