Last 2 Days to vote in the 2020 General Election

Please remind the voters that have requested absentee ballots that they must be returned as soon as possible. If by mail they need to be postmarked by November 3, 2020. If dropping in the ballot box, they must be dropped by 6pmCT on Nov 3, no later.

The ballot drop off box is located in the foyer of the Adair County Annex Building, 424 Public Square, Columbia. The building is open today from 8amCT to 4pmCT, and it will be open tomorrow from 6amCT to 6pmCT for voting.

Early voting continues today in the Basement of the Adair County Annex from 8amCT to 4pmCT

Election Day Voting
Remember that "normal precincts" will not be open. You may vote at any of the four locations regardless of your "normal precinct". The only voting locations open tomorrow, November 3, 2020, are the following:


  1. VFW Building, 500 Greenhills Road, Columbia

  2. Trinity United Methodist Church, 2252 Campbellsville Road, Columbia

  3. Jim Blair Center (Christian Life Center), 904 Hudson Street, Columbia

  4. Adair County Annex Basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia
All locations will be open from 6amCT to 6pmCT.

All totals received from absentee voting, early voting, and Election Day will be released as normal after the polls close at 6pmCT tomorrow night. (Note: we're waiting for clarification for the deadline for votes by mail that are postmarked on Nov 3).

At 6amCT today, November 3, 2020, poll workers are opening up for a 12-hour day in these four locations - top left/clockwise, Trinity United Methodist Church, 2252 Campbellsville Road; Blair Park/Christian Life Center, 904 Hudson Street; VFW Building, 500 Green Hills Road; and the Adair County Courthouse Annex, 424 Public Square.

Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, everything about this election year has been different. Today, no matter what precinct you would normally vote in, you will be able to cast your ballot in any one of these four locations around Columbia until 6pm. Please vote, please follow safety guidelines, and please do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.
