Letter: Delivered by Dr. Mercer Alice Smith Robinson writes: Hello, I really enjoyed the history lesson about Dr. Mercer. My Mom told me that she cut tobacco all day and that night Dr. Mercer delivered me at our home there in Adair County. That would be August 21, 1946. I moved to Indiana 50 years ago but I always love to come back home and visit family. Adair County will always be home.
