Anne Upton Durham, 63, Greensburg, KY (1957-2020)

Anne Maria Upton Durham of Greensburg passed away on October 10, 2020. She was 63 years old.

The funeral services for Anne Upton Durham will be conducted at NoonCT on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Pavilion with Bro. Ricky Arnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

A walk through visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, and after 10amCT on Tuesday at the church pavilion until the time of the funeral service.



Anne Maria Upton Durham of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Fanola Simpson Cox Upton of Greensburg and the late Harold Leon Upton, was born on Thursday, May 30, 1957 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the University of Louisville-Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was 63 years, 4 months, and 11 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. She was a teacher for the Green County Board of Education for 27 years, having taught at Summersville Elementary School, Pierce Elementary School, and the Green County Intermediate School. She was a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, and she was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Eddie Durham of Greensburg, having united in marriage on March 4, 1983.

Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Lee and Ashleigh Durham of Greensburg; a daughter and son-in-law: Lizi and Corey Witcher of Greensburg; grandchildren: Maddox Durham, Maryn Durham, Clay David Witcher, Elin Witcher, and Mila Cate Witcher all of Greensburg; a brother: Jerry Upton of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Pam and Tim Deaton, and Betty Durham all of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ebenezer Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
