Dorothy (Ma Dot) Davidson, 89, Burkesville, KY (1931-2020) Mrs. Dorothy "Ma Dot" (Keen) Davidson of Burkesville passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky. She was 89 years old. The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy "Ma Dot" (Keen) Davidson will be conducted at 3pmCT on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY, with burial to follow in The Smith Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 11amCT on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, until the funeral hour on Thursday. She was born on Sunday, January 25, 1931, in Cumberland County, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas Taylor and Ida Mae (Coffee) Keen. She was of the Methodist faith, attended Jones Chapel and Liberty United Methodist Churches, and was a seamstress for Sutton's Shirt Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Johnny Ambrose "Hame" Davidson, daughter, Vickie Lynn Davidson, sons, Kennie Davidson, Charles Davidson, siblings, James Keen, Bobby Keen, Dimple Willis, Regina Spears step-daughters, Betty Melton, Jacqueline Pharis, stepson, James "Rooster" Davidson, grandchild, Micheal "Munk" Taylor. She is survived by her children, Billy (& Sharlotte) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky, Juanita (& Floyd) Willis of Burkesville, Kentucky, Johnny (& Cheryl) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky, Nelda "Cookie" (& Frankie) Reliford of Edmonton, Kentucky, Linda (& Stevie) Long, Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Minnie Overland of Illinois, Delsie Porter of Tennessee, grandchildren, Marchelle, Lisa Jo, Christy Ann, Ashley, Nikki, Vickie, Jennifer, Amy, Chad, Sierra, along with several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
