Letter: Watch for baby Copperheads in September Marie Freeman writes from southern Adair County: Probably a lot of Kentuckians down here already know this, but I've lived here over 25 years and this is the first I've realized it. Yesterday I saw a small snake and I thought that really looks like a baby Copperhead. And I thought to myself a Copperhead would be bigger by now since it's fall.
