Web Development Cohort Program

Cumberlands Workforce Development Board

The Cumberlands Workforce Development Board is partnering with BC Skills Development Academy out of Barren County High School to launch a Web Development training program in Campbellsville, KY.

Or they can register using this link: cumberlandsworkforce.com/web-development-academy. The deadline to register for the training program will be October 1, 2020.

The program is a great opportunity for individuals that are willing to dedicate 15 weeks to become career ready in a growing industry earning $60,000 annually. Below are key points to the BC Skills Program:


  • The Coding Academy will run for 15 weeks locally in January 2021. Students should plan on dedicating Monday - Friday to the program, approximately 8 hours per day (classroom setting).
  • The program cost is $3,000 - $4,000, depending on the number of students enrolled. Students will be evaluated for eligibility for a free Macbook Pro.
  • Requirement: Students should have good algebra and math skills.
  • Average salary for computer programmers / web developers is around $60,000 annually.
  • This program is ideal for individuals that want to move into an emerging industry that has excellent growth potential.
  • We are specifically looking to place dislocated workers (laid off from employment or received notice of layoff - specifically hospitality/retail sector).
  • Location: Campbellsville Career Center
