Buddy Lowe, 91, Green County, KY (1929-2020)

He was a retired educator at the Green County School System for 53 years. He served as a teacher, principal, and was the Superintendent for 33 years...

William Marshall "Buddy" Lowe of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Guy Lowe and Agnes Cordilia "Agdee" Marshall Lowe, was born on Sunday, August 18, 1929 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, August 21, 2020. He was 91 years and 3 days of age.

The funeral services will be conducted at 2pmCT Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Leland Humphrey and Jim Frank officiating.

A walk-through visitation will be held after 10amCT Monday at the funeral home until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Gary Scott, Mike Mills, Bill Johnson, Jim Frank, Will Hodges, Bill Twyman, Marshall Davis. Honorary Pallbearers: The Joymakers Gospel Group Members.



He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM for 70 years. He was a retired educator at the Green County School System for 53 years. He served as a teacher, principal, and was the Superintendent for 33 years.

Survivors include two cousins: Joe Tommy Hodges of Greensburg, Perry Rebecca Garrett of Bardstown; three caretakers: Marcy Goff, Bettie Jo Russell, and Jim Frank all of Greensburg.

Mr. Lowe was also preceded in death by a brother and sister: Rod Lowe and Tenabel Hancock.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the New Green County High School Building Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
